As of today, national and foreign tourists will have a new attraction and information site in the City of Puntarenas. It is the Port Capitanía building, which opened its doors after a long, rigorous restoration process.

Under the guise of the ITTF (International Tourism Trade Fair) and with the aim of encouraging tourist development in Costa Rica and Cádiz, Spain, as well as promoting socioeconomic growth in their respective populations and quality of life, the Costa Rica Tourist Board and the mayorship of Cádiz signed a cooperation agreement.
