Once again it's time for the annual surf and golf competition with Robert August and Robert “Wingnut” Weaver from the legendary surf movie "Endless Summer".

"Robert August Surf And Turf" is a four man team competition. In the golf tournament only the best ball counts and in the surf competition each team member has one heat that counts!
Other highlights of the event are: salsa dance contest, bikini contest, fashion shows, price raffles and auctions.

In 2005 the charity surf and golf contest raised 23000,-$! This year the money will go to:
- The Orphanage of Santa Cruz, Costa Rica (PANI)
- The Grammar School at Villa Real Costa Rica
- The Lifeguards of Tamarindo

Location: Playa Tamarindo
Accommodations: "Cala Luna Hotel and Villas" and "Best Western Tamarindo Vista Villas"
Fee: 200,-$ per person

Thursday, April 6
Welcome party at the Best Western Tamarindo Vista Villas pool. Party with
the surf legends while enjoying good food, drinks, and music.

Friday, April 7
Surf contest or sunset cruise. The surf contest will be held
either on Friday or Sunday, allowing for the best possible
conditions. If the contest is postponed, Friday will offer an
afternoon cruise. Diving and snorkeling in secluded bays north
of Tamarindo.
That night will be a party and silent auction in Robert
August's house in Tamarindo, with all proceeds going to
Robert’s charities in Costa Rica.

Saturday, April 8
Four man scramble on the Hacienda Pinilla Golf & Beach Resort's golf course.
Competitions in longest drive, closest to the pin, and longest
Later the party takes place at Lola’s restaurant at Playa
Avellana on the beach.

Sunday, April 9
Depending on the waves the surf contest or the sunset cruise
will take place.

Monday, April 10
Boat trip with Robert August and Robert “Wingnut” Weaver to
Ollie's Point.
